J.R.R. Tolkien is creator of Middle-earth and author of The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion. He was awarded a CBE and an honorary Doctorate of Letters from Oxford University, and died in 1973.
Mark Walker has taught Latin to adults and children for several years. Not quite as fun as Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis but charming all the same. A nice change from the classic Latin texts we all learned from.
Wonderful book for all of those who love Tolkien, and are intrigued by Latin. I purchased this for my daughter, and she's in seventh heaven.
