I purchased this book along with the Ty Beanie Baby "Eucalyptus the Koala" for my niece for Christmas. She loved both. I found the book to be informative and very educational. It provides basic information about Koalas. You learn everything from their diets, to their habitat. While the older elementary school students may consider this an easy read, the information is invaluable and can be used for science or book reports. Not to mention younger readers can improve their lexile scores.

I teach children about endangered animals and we make them in clay. I use these books to help the class understand the lifestyle or the animal, to show them images to use as they make their work. The National Geographic books are well priced, beautiful and informative.

My granddaughter adores Koalas and she is going to flip over this magazine!! Bright, vivid pictures are really going to capture her 10 year old heart! Thank you so much, NatGeo for all of your exceptional magazines!!
