适合孩子，有趣有知识，印刷好。

I am a middle school teacher and my students LOVE this book. It doesn't matter the age/grade, students in 5th grade through 8th grade keep coming back to it. It is a great go to to help calm a student down, or simply let them read if they finish their work early. I have read it myself and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The large pictures and text are great!

This book is packed full of fun facts. I bought it to keep my children busy during a family trip. They get motion sickness if they read too long, but do fine for a few pages here and there. This book worked perfectly as a distractor when they started getting on each others' nerves ("Hey, can you read another page of that cool book?" "Sure!") Time and again they'd read a factoid or joke aloud and the entire car would be shaking from the laughter. It not only kept the kids happy, it kept the parents awake and laughing, as well, and led to other conversations. After the trip, they took it to school and had a fun time sharing with classmates (quote: "I got to amaze the class a whole lot!"). Oh, and the book is smaller than a half-sheet of paper in size (but thick), so doesn't take up too much room in a backpack. We bought this book first, then got the first Weird but True. Greatly enjoyed both. I'm here now to get the Ultimate Weird but True next.

My 7 yr old daughter LOVES this book. She reads it to me during breakfast and I am always amazed by these little facts that I didn't know! It also gives me a chance to explain some things further, and so I get a bit of a teaching lesson in there as well. For example, "A giant squid's eyeball can be as big as a human head." Well, I had been to Mote Aquarium in Sarasota, FL where there is a giant squid in a tank (dead, of course). So I went to the computer to show her my pictures so she could visualize it. Also, there are many facts about the solar system which prompted me to take out other books to show her pictures of the planets, their orbits, features, etc. This book is awesome for curious minds. I am now purchasing the first book and have pre-ordered the third one coming out in June/12. The book is written with crazy font types, colors and sizes and my daughter thinks it's fun to read. I recommend it!

My son, a fact and trivia lover, was and is still crazy about this book! Each page has multiple facts and he loves to read and re-read them over and over again. He has impressed me, his friends, and teachers at his school JUST with what he's learned from this book!!! I can't wait to purchase more from this series for him. Caution to Parents: If you purchase this book, or a similar one, be prepared for countless "Did you know..." questions!!!! ;o) Then again, you may learn a thing or two, like I did!

Encourages non readers to enjoy reading. Quick but amazing fun facts keeps their interests. Kids love knowing something that you might not know.
