内容简介 Though making partner is a dream for many attorneys, the track can be riddled with potholes. And according to The Wall Street Journal, more than 30 percent of law firm associates leave their firms by the end of their third year when they realize making partner is still years away. Competition is wild for available slots—and in our shaky economy, lawyers are seeking an even stronger advantage to keep their jobs and reach their maximum potential.

The Partner Track imparts useful advice on how to cruise the partner track at large and small firms. Author Ennico briefs readers on what it means to make partner; why some succeed and others fail; how to size up employers; how to survive the first two years at a firm; and job options for those who don’t make partner. This deep-dive into the realities of law fi rm life, and how to work within its boundaries, is ideal for associates with up to six years of experience; recent law school grads; and third year law students. The Partner Track grooms readers to make a lasting impression on those who count.
