内容简介 Environmental assisted cracking of metals is an important topic related to many industries in lives. Although the problem with this type of corrosion has been known for many years, the debate on the effects and possible remedies available under different environmental conditions is ongoing and topical.

作者简介 J-C. Zhao, Fellow of ASM, is a materials scientist at GE. In addition to many materials innovations, he developed a diffusion-multiple approach for accelerated materials development and phase diagram mapping. Zhao is an Associate Editor for Journal of Phase Equilibria & Diffusion. He has ~60 papers and ~60 issued & pending patents.
