Scientific American Presents: Nobel Prize Winners on Physics and Astrophysics also features articles from other luminaries such as Erwin Schrodinger and Niels Bohr, as well as more recent work from scientists such as Charles H. Townes, who speculated in an article published in 1990 that there may be a giant black hole at the center of our galaxy, a prediction which was proved correct within a decade. Other Nobel Prize winners included are:

• Harold C. Urey

• Willard F. Libby

• Hans A. Bethe
