  参考范文如下:

  Dear Jack,

I have received your email today. First I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you for your congratulations on me. And in the following, I will provide some advice with regard to translation.

I can find no better suggestions other than the following ones. To begin with, you should read more English books and novels to enlarge your vocabularies. Besides, listening skill is an indispensible part in the translation, so that you should spare no efforts in listening, such as VOA, BBC. Moreover, if you have enough free time, go to English Corner talking to some foreigners to practice your oral English. Remember that English translation is a comprehensive craft.

I hope you will find these suggestions useful and I would be ready to discuss the matter with you to further details. I'm looking forward to your reply and wish you a good luck.

  Yours sincerely,

  Li Ming
