完整的句子是英文作文的基本单元。考雅思?考托福?如果造句不来电又缺乏句子结构的变化，则与写作高分占时无缘。再说，造句若不灵，又如何论证?

首先复习关于英文句子的基本常识。已经有清楚概念的学友可以忽视今天的课程，请直接多花点时间锻炼习作。
按照结构，英文句子分成四类：简单句，复合句，复杂句，复合复杂句。之前，先理解独立子句和从属子句的分别。
》Before you can understand sentence types, you need to understand the difference between an independent (独立)and a dependent (从属)clause (子句).
独立子句 An independent clause is a complete sentence. (句子完整;句头没有字标 Marker Word。)
从属子句 A dependent clause CANNOT be a complete sentence. Often a dependent clause is marked by a Marker Word. Here are some common markers (从属句的常用字标) --after, although, as, as if, because, before, even if, even though, if, in order to, since, though, unless, until, whatever, which, whenever, whether, while, that, which, what, who, whoever, whom, whomever and whose.
Sentence Variety (句法变化):
All sentences must have an independent clause; but, in order to achieve Sentence Variety, you can mix and match how many dependent or independent clauses you want to make more interesting and complicated sentences.
There are four types of sentence structure。

简单句 Simple Sentences: One independent clause.
复合句 Compound Sentences: At least 2 independent clauses.
复杂句 Complex Sentences: One independent clause + at least one dependent clause.
复合复杂句 Compound-Complex Sentences: At least 2 independent clauses + at lease one dependent clause.

以上四种句子是按照结构(structure)分类。以下四种句子是按照用途(purpose)分类。用得多的是直述句。偶尔用疑问句，命令句，惊叹句。
--直述句 A Declarative Sentence is a statement, using a period [.].

--疑问句 An Interrogative Sentence asks a question, using a question mark [?].
