There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors all around us. Overall, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than benefits it makes. As is vividly betrayed in the photo above, due to over development, there is limited land being set aside for endangered animals.
Absolutely, we should reserve some land for the world’s animals for the following reasons. First, mankind’s need for land is constantly growing. If the demand is not checked controlled in some way, humans will eventually develop all of the earth’s available land. At that time, mankind will have no more room to grow, and all the wild animals will have disappeared, as well as other valuable resources. Second, humans are able to innovate and can use the land that they already possess in more efficient ways. Animals are unable to do this. Once their land is taken away from them, they will die. Third and last, endangered animals are an important part of the biodiversity of our planet. If they disappear, we cannot predict what the effect will be. Therefore, we should treat such animals as a valuable resource to be protected.
To sum up, the world’s endangered animals are an important resource and we should protect them by setting aside some land for them. Although mankind’s need for land continues to grow, people are intelligent and inventive enough to put the land into use properly. In this way, we can have enough land for farming, housing and industry, and preserve the biodiversity of the planet at the same time.

The picture symbolically depicts that six lovely children from different countries with different ethnicities get together and play games happily in a world of harmony. It is quite obvious that the drawer wishes to draw our attention to the most favorable social phenomenon that cultural exchanges are gaining worldwide popularity.
There are, to my mind, several reasons accounting for this phenomenon of the picture. For one thing, cultural exchanges can enhance international friendship, and people can acquire better understanding of each other. Through cultural exchanges, they can learn of different peoples around the world, what they believe in, how they lead their daily life, and their traditions and customs. For another, cultural exchanges can also greatly benefit the countries involved. That is because countries can share their achievements with each other to stimulating their own social progress and cultural prosperity.
Based on the above reasons, I hold that worldwide cultural exchange is beneficial to all countries involved. As for China, the opendoor policy has greatly promoted the Chinese civilization to the entire world and vice versa. Therefore, I can firmly conclude that in the long run, cultural exchanges will contribute to a flourishing Chinese and global economy, as well as diversified cultures.

In the cartoon we can see a tall and thin man, along with a short and stout man are using suitable hotpot for dinner. Apparently, the picture aims to emphasize that anything to be done must be measured in advance so that we are able to find a proper way to do it.
This same principle applies to solving any other problem. Firstly, when we want to know the reality of something, we must describe it like it is, getting rid of our prejudices and exaggerations, so that we can have an unbiased view. Secondly, the object should be analyzed in a concrete way so that we can grasp the reasons and rules of it. Thirdly, we must adapt our approach to solving a problem, for each situation is different from the others. So we must view a problem from different perspectives.
The cartoon implies different meanings to different people. A teacher should adopt different teaching methods according to the students in the class; a doctor should prescribe different treatments according to the patient’s symptoms; a farmer should seed different plants according to the various conditions of the earth. From a philosophical point of view, dissimilar problems should be approached differently. Good results come from attentive analysis of a problem.
