查看LD_LIBRARY_PATH(echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH),其中存在有/usr/lib,重新exportLD_LIBRARY_PATH=... ,去掉其中的/usr/lib

Installing VMware Tools on Solaris 10 fails (2019932)

Symptoms

• Installing VMware Tools on a Solaris 10 virtual machine fails.
• You are unable to install VMware Tools on a Solaris 10 virtual machine, and a core dump file is generated.
• After running the command /usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl you see messages similar to:

  CauseThis is a known issue with the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable in Solaris 10. It is not a VMware issue.

  ResolutionTo work around this issue, perform one of these options:
  

  • Remove /usr/lib/ from the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable and reinstall VMware Tools.
