My son has found a good hero in Bear Grylls. His books are a good outlet for kids to go along on an exciting adventure and pick up some knowledge too. We appreciate what seems to be a sincere faith in God by Bear and his recognition that what he does isn't in his own strength but in Jesus who is the ultimate Savior and helps you survive any circumstance of life.

I originally collected this series to give to my nieces kids, but just to make sure they were OK for kids, I read the first one......and then the rest!

The story lines are not real "in depth", but are fun and there are good survival tips. I recommend them highly for young (and old) adventured loving "kids"! :)

I read this in about four hours on a trip to Hawaii. More of a young man's adventure book....part of a series written by Bear, I still found it very entertaining and readable. Bear is a very good writer and you can learn a few thning from his books as well.

Great Series! Great for a 9 yr. old boy!

My oldest son is a new boy scout and was surprised to see that the official spokesman for BSA, Bear Grylls, had written a series of adventure stories. Cool!
