I was so happy to find this book to help me teach my pre-kindergarteners the concept of using 911. Perfect for the age I teach and had the concepts I was looking for without being too wordy. They all like Little Critter. Who doesn't?
There is no such thing as too many books (contrary to what my MIL says) - so we are constantly purchasing books for our children and their growing library. My youngest (3) is a big fan of all of the Little Critter books and we are slowly amassing the entire collection! My almost 5 year old likes it because there are words she can read herself!
It is everything that I have come to expect from Mercer Mayer and the Little Critter collection. Dad is working on a project and the door nob falls off and traps Dad. Little Critter comes to the rescue, when he can't get the door open, he calls for help. It is a very cute book to read.
My grandchildren and I have yet to find a Mercer Mayer book that we do not like. The Little Critter comes to the rescue. Helpful information mixed with fun and wonderful illustrations.
I have been buying this series of books for our 5 year old for for the past few years. Everyone has been a hit that she would first want us to read to her over and over again, and now she reads them over and over herself.
