这本小说我在外文书店买过，内容一模一样（书里面的英语和现在的英语用法有区别）。但是这本书的内容实际是中译本的第一部。我想看后面的故事，后面一直写到莫格里结婚，故事非常有趣---------这本小说绝对不能错过，中文版也不能错过，中文版的翻译非常活泼生动，让人一口气读完！
罗德亚德·吉卜林（1865-1936），英国19世纪末20世纪初的文学大家。于1907年获诺贝尔文学奖。1894年和1895年，吉卜林接连出版了具有浓郁印度风味的《丛林故事》和《丛林故事续编》两部书，奠定了他儿童文学巨匠的地位。
这个书有很多的演绎版本，否则字那么小，那么密，怎读得下去的。写作的年代离现在有好长一段时间了，所以有些古怪文言字符出现。
单词简单，很适合学习用

平装口袋本，小巧，纸张薄而略发黑，虽然是廉价的体现，但对比度低倒是不伤眼睛。文字密集，页边距很窄，这都不是问题。对于25.5元的价格，很值得。最大的问题：封底上贴的国内价签，不是那么容易清理干净的，希望以后能使用那种不留痕迹的不干胶。
