喜欢看的书籍，还是很不错的。
Where to begin. I need to start this off by stating: I was completely enthralled by Jules Verne when I was a teenager. I'm not much of a reader anymore due to my job is based on research and reading most days, but I was so looking forward to reading to my three year old her first "big person" book and let her imagination run wild. That being said, I flat out refuse to read this thing. I think I'm rather offended that they even passed this book off as being even remotely related to the actual 20,000 L.U.T.S. I opened up the box from amazon excited to get the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and I get this. Oh why Amazon, WHY.....!?!?
The first thing I noticed was the last half of the pages in the book look like the machine mis-fed and mis-cut the pages. I can flip through 7 of the pages that are not all stuck together. As for reading this ... this... item of confounding junk, I'll donate it to the local kids library and go purchase an actual hardcover of the novel that I can tangibly verify in person. I am sickened in places where pills cannot reach that some publisher out there thought it was a great idea to take a classic and turned it into some watered down equivalent of a Readers Digest Condensed Book.
Do yourself a favor, don't waste the time or the money on this. Read the item description carefully and make sure you get the original version. I wish I could attach pictures of how it arrived.
I bought this for my grandchildren, It's a good copy but not something really great to keep forever.
Although my kids have not made it through all the classical series set of books we've purchased I can say the yard beautiful books, well made & a wonderful addition to our homeschool library!
My daughter (8 year) couldn't stop reading it's filled with adventures. She wants to read the original version now
