Pippa Goodhart's interest in children's books was originally sparked by a Saturday job at Heffers in Cambridge when she was at school. Since then, Pippa qualified as a teacher and returned to Heffers, where she eventually became Manager of the Children's Bookshop. She has been writing since 1993.
Nick Sharratt graduated from St Martin's School of Art in 1984 and has been working as an illustrator ever since, as well as writing his own books. He has produced around 170 books to date and is the illustrator for multimillion-selling author Jacqueline Wilson. Awards won by Nick include The Children's Book Award, The Sheffield Children's Book Award and The Nestle Gold Prize.

Not as good as their "You Choose" Book. I'm a speech-language pathologist, and I love their "You Choose" book so much that I decided to give this one a try too. It didn't work as well during therapy sessions as many of the pictures are concepts that are harder to discuss without strong language skills. Don't get me wrong- this interactive book is still way better than most books out there. I would say it would work best for 4 & 5 year olds with great language skills OR 6 years and older children. It could also easily be used for writing prompts in the elementary age level. For example, 'what would it be like to be a giant' or 'what would you do if you were invisible.'
We enjoyed this book but not quite as much as "You Choose." Still worth checking out but given the choice of the two, we would go with "You Choose."
My 3 year old loves this book! It's bright, fun, and interesting. Each page is great for generating conversation and there are tons of opportunities for learning.
Wonderful book. We also have You Choose by the same author. My 3.5 year old loves it and we go back to it all the time. We don't just follow the book's text, we make up a long story by using the pictures in the book. It is fun, silly and different every time!
Unlimited space of imagination, my kids loved it & discussed about it all the time :)
