This is a must have to write a great resume. This book has several different examples of resumes and puts in plain words the do's and don'ts for today job market. Since having this book and rewriting my resume, I have had 40 plus new contacts from corporations, recruiters in many different industries. I am IT specialist; my old resume was too lengthy, this book explained how to write a synopsis my skills. I would strongly consider you get your hands on this book. It will help in your job search.

Indispensable guide to writing a resume. Truly, I bring it out every time I need to update my resume. It's been very helpful and I'm convinced the current job I have is due to the fact that I used this book to write my resume. There are plenty of examples and the directions are sensible and concise. There was not one situation that I could not find advice and an example for.

Absolutely amazing book. Well structured, and helps to understand how to make a success story of your work routine.

Also, I have found their "before and "after" resumes to be very helpful.

This book is great! It has examples for a person to work on their resume at any stage of their life (first job, between jobs, etc) It also has lots of different layouts and ways of wording things to make them sound better.

I would have given it 5 stars, but it was missing a key piece I thought should have been included - what people who have gone to college, but haven't finished and are NOT currently in school should do to address this issue. It addresses people who are in school, who have just finished school for either 1st or 2nd degrees, and who have not gone, but not those with partial education. There are numerous examples of resumes in here, and while they all have similar "after" templates, it is obvious that they were written by a variety of people. This is interesting in and of itself, because it gives more than one "way" to write your resume. All in all, it's a reference I've used multiple times and have recommended in real life!
