Personally, I found this a little boring and too easy for my son. My son is currently 4 in PreK and wouldn't be challenged by a lot of this book. Will probably resell it....
I love this book. I have used it a couple of times, but plan to use it more efficiently next year in my centers.
I use this book to tutor for a change from the classroom work. Each story has worksheets that enforces what is taught in the classroom. After each story there are comprehension questions, language skills, and many opportunities to think.
These passages are short and contain a number of activities for students to do while working on comprehension and reading skills. The students enjoy the activities.
