Lewis Carroll was born on 27 January 1832. He studied at Christ Church, Oxford and went on to become a mathematics lecturer there from 1855 to 1881. Lewis Carroll's most famous works are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (published in 1865) and the sequel Alice Through the Looking-Glass, which contains the classic nonsense poem The Jabberwocky (published in 1872). Helen Oxenbury is among the most popular and critically-acclaimed illustrators of her time. Her numerous books for children include Smarties Book Prize-winning Farmer Duck by Martin Waddell; We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen; as well as her classic board books for babies. She won the Kate Greenaway Medal for Alice in Wonderland.

书是经典书。纸张很厚。插图是John Tenniel的经典插图，上了色，非常精美。字大行稀，适合孩子阅读。内容和印刷都没得说，超五星。这些都很喜欢。
读了一些，发现一些文字错误，校订不严谨。
24页，第1行：I shall he punished for it now，he应该是be；
102页，最后一段第1句The Hatter shook his head mounrfully，mounrfully该是mournfully；
127页，第2段第1句开头，出现了半个引号 “, 其实这里并没有话语要引用，下半个引号也没有看到。
249页，第6段第1行，Alice did not know what to sav to this，sav应该是say。
329页，本页最后一行，As I was saving，saving应该是saying
亚马逊的拍照技术真不敢恭维啊。。。这个明明是个set，不是一本书，要是单看的话肯定会误解的。要是喜欢爱丽丝的买买买吧。
这个版本是 Helen Oxenbury绘制的插画版本，个人比较喜欢这个风格，所以看到亚马逊(上海外文书店提供，亚马逊配送)有就果断出手了。没有纸盒，只有纸袋，外壳没有明显的破损，心里的石头也放下了。
书应当给五星，但是卖家的确不怎么样，中国国际图书贸易集团有限公司广州分公司，货从湖北发来，快递让取件时都有点蒙了，不是说好的亚马逊物流吗？这也没什么，主要是收到的书是个残品：外面的护封是损坏过的，后期人为修补了的，既然是别人的退货为什么要按全新品卖呢？还能不能有点诚信了？因为这是要送给孩子的圣诞礼物，二来其实这个破损对我来讲其实并不在意，也就懒得和卖家再做沟通了，但这个卖家真的是一个非常小家子气、没有诚信的卖家！！！
I just finished re-reading it. Oh I love Alice!
( It is also surprising how much different movies are, even though based on those stories). There are so many quotes that I just love in this book.
What is your favorite quote from Alice?
I don't even know where to begin with those....
"Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop".
"The hurrier I go, the behinder I get"
Well, I myself don't love it, but my daughter loved it as a Christmas gift. She is a huge Alice fan, and this is a special edition for the 150th birthday of the book.
Even better than I imagined!!! it's so beautiful, the cover is amazing, and the illustrations are great!
Came in perfect condition and great addition to my collection.
Amazing book, binding, illustrations, pages are beautiful and crisp.
