We have several of these National Geographic Kids books, and we're fans of the series overall.
This particular title is great. The photographs are really lovely - clear and vibrant. The text is simple, but informative and interesting. Great for an animal-loving 5 year old. Perfect for a level-2 easy reader title.
This is one that will get lots of re-reads in our home.
As the other books in the series, very informative with cute pictures. My son learned the basic features of these cute animals.
This book was great for my kindergarten grandson. He loved the book. The words were great and pictures as well. He wanted to write his own book about manatees after he finished reading the book.
