Gary Grossman is the founder and CEO of Venn Strategy Group, which helps companies measure and manage strategy. He is an international consultant and trainer with expertise in using business intelligence and technology to build an integrated performance management culture. His clients have included several well known companies including Coca-Cola, Epson, and Avery Dennison.

A lot of great points that I never thought were part of being a good manager. If you just got promoted this book gives you a starting foundation as to what you need for you to develop as a manager.
An informative and easy to read book. I appreciate how the author is highlighting the importance of being polite and gentle towards your employees. Unfortunately many managers lack those skills.

After I finished the first chapter on Knowing the Territory I knew that this book had in it what I needed to know. I thought the book is a very easy read with a ton of useful points on how to manage a team, move them forward and reach all of our goals together. It covers Resolving conflicts and Handling Harrassment in a easy informative way. Well done !
Read the book for my management class. I have no desire to become a manager, but it was insightful. Will be very helpful in group projects.
