We love Melrose and Croc. Particularly the original Christmas one. Such great books depicting a nice friendship. This one was ok. However it didn't give you that warm, fuzzy feeling like the others we have. Nothing bad about it. Just so-so. The pictures are nice, as always. Just not as interesting or heartwarming as the others.
Our almost 6 year old daughter latched onto Melrose and Croc A Christmas to Remember two years ago in the UK, and really loved it. At her request we purchased two more Melrose and Croc books including this one. While it was nicely illustrated and a decent story, it was not as sophisticated or substantial as "A Christmas to Remember" and we ended up a little disappointed. Probably better for a slightly younger child.
