Great for a child who needs more than just one or two pages and then moves on without memorizing things. These books have page after page after page of problems that the child needs to know repetitive work means they will memorize it. I homeschool all 4 of my kids, and use this alongside all curriculums I use. Great for a more visual learner.

After buying about 12 Kumon books for my three children (and regretting it immediately after opening them up) I decided to go with Sylvan and am glad that I did. My kids enjoy these much better than Kumon and I no longer have to listen to "Aw man, I don't wanna do those books!" every day.

The book covers the material that my student will meet in the fourth grade. I would recommend this book to anyone who is tutoring a student. The book has plenty of practice problems which comes in handy if the student has trouble with any concept.

Perfect for review & skill building. Exactly what my daughter needed & more than exceeded my expectations

Some parts of the book are very easy like for 1st grader, but the parts of multiplication and division are difficult.
