30. The United States of America is one of the most developed countries in the world. It lies between two great oceans, the Atlantic to the east and the Pacific to the west. Its neighbor countries are Canada on the north and Mexico on the south.
Washington is its capital while the east coast city---- New York is its biggest city, which is also known as the “Big Apple”, where the United Nations’ building stands.
The United States is made up of 50 states, which covers over nine million three hundred and sixty thousand square kilometers and has a population of about two hundred and thirty millions, most of which are workers.
The earliest inhabitants in the United States are Indians. As the United States of America is an immigrant country, people often call it a “ Melting Pot”
