Jin and Rick arrive at the Liberty Bell
Rick: Here we are! The Liberty Bell-our city's most famous landmark.
Jin: Why is this bell so special?
Rick: Well, it was rung on July 8, 1776, to signify America's independence.
Jin: Huh. That must have been a big deal at the time.
Rick: Very big! It used to be rung every July 4th-America's birthday-in memory.
Jin: What's the story behind the big crack in the bell?
Rick: It was first cracked by a bell clapper when tested in 1835. But it cracked irreparably when rung for Washington's birthday in 1846.
