I should start by saying I love this story. I have read it to my kids every year of their lives out of a Reader's Digest Christmas book. I didn't pay close enough attention to the product specs when I purchased this. By looking at the picture I was thinking I was getting a lovely and large book with lavish illustrations. Ended up being about 4 inches by 5 inches... teeny-tiny. I bought it for the purpose of sharing this funny story (reading it out loud) at a party to a group of kids and was hoping to have some pictures to show... well... that's not happening! Oh bother. My Reader's Digest Christmas book actually has better illustrations in it than this, and it tells the whole story in only about 3 pages. Disappointing simply because it's not the format I was hoping for.

Thought this looked like a good read. However, it was not what we expected. Poorly written, bad illustrations too!! It did not make any sense when she said Tempers were covering the streets!! I mean, come on!! You can't even see tempers!!!:(

I had the audio book for this and loved it and when I actually read the book,I'll love it too.

This volume emphasizes the value of Gratitude and sharing as guides to living an extraordinary life. I like the audio- it's a fun gift to anyone whos' heading home for the holidays-- for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanza or whatever holidary you are celebrating.

I can't believe I didn't have this book by my favorite author, Richard Paul Evans new book to be released in May 2013.
