In summary I can tell you that as a long-time user and instructor of Primavera P6, I found this book to be excellent as both a self-study tool and reference guide. It's direct, no-nonce narrative and crystal clear examples provide the reader with the right information to understand the concepts, functions and best practices for mastering Primavera P6. Ample screen shots and diagrams help you to navigate the interface and understand the context of the topics. The book is thorough in detail and yet will not overwhelm the reader. I can happily recommend this book to both novice and expert alike.
It's easy to understand but some details are missed and skipped. The other one (written by Paul E. Harris) has more details and planning idea. but for beginner and intermediate user, this will be enough.
To be productive as Project Management, this is up to date work breakdown structure to make project effective as possible to avoid scope creeps.
A great reference, with nice tips and good correlations to MS Project. I have recommended that my team of 15 project managers purchase this book.
Book reads exactly as advertised! Could not be happier with this book and the help it has provided in Oracle Primavera scheduling software!
